This is just about as easy to use as the previous incarnation of the app that it replaces (this is a completely new app, so not a free upgrade).
The only minor issues are that you might find it quicker to tap on the lower half of the screen after double-tapping on a point of interest. Otherwise, swiping from the initial location of VoiceOver focus (the top of the page) means that you have to flick through all of the locations displayed on the map before you get to the information about the actual point of interest that you want to read about. Also on this screen, the button to launch navigation and the element which show the distance and direction to the point of interest can’t always be found by swiping - you might need to locate them with your tiger (hint: they are in the top right of the page, just below the menu bar, then the page first loads).
