Description of App

* An interactive audio experience inspired by classic role playing games. * Use your voice to explore, adventure and battle enemies in strategic combat. * Solve puzzles, complete quests and uncover the mystery surrounding the town of Largefearn. The Bard’s Tale - Warlocks of Largefearn is an interactive audio adventure where you use your voice to control the story - using your microphone to issue commands in battle, speak with townspeople and interact with the world. The game can be entirely controlled by voice, though there are on-screen prompts available if you’d prefer not to shout “Attack!” at your phone in public. This fully audio-scaped adventure will immerse you into the world of The Bard’s Tale - Warlocks of Largefearn. Features: 4 playable classes; the Bard, Fighter, Rogue and Practitioner - each with their own advanced subclasses to help you customize your playstyle further. Advance to the cunning Conjuror and use magic to blast your foes, or become the fearsome Berserker and just hit things ‘really’ hard. Recruit Companions who will assist you in your adventure with insightful comments, not-so insightful remarks and an additional set of hands to help you defeat monsters and minions alike. Be strategic in combat - We would really recommend it! Use your class abilities, movement and companion to your advantage so as to deal as much damage to your foes as possible. Interact with the world around you by using 4 key phrases: Look at - Talk to - Use - Pick up. We would recommend against trying to ‘Pick up’ Orcs though - they can be quite heavy. An immersive and compelling story which places you in the middle of the mysterious disappearances of townsfolk. Support: For any and all technical problems, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing contact@wanderword.net - where we are more than happy to help with any issues, as well as giving the best tips on how to throw fireballs at Goblins. This hands-free, heads-up experience is developed by Wanderword and powered by Fabella, the interactive audio creator. Learn more at Wanderword.net & fabellacreator.com

Accessibility Comments

This game can be played, although there are some issues with button labelling.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

The biggest issue is to get started. When you open the app, turn off VoiceOver and tap somewhere in the top middle before turning VoiceOver on again. If done correctly, the start-up menu should appear. Also, I am open to suggestions on how to properly rate this game.

Hello. This was originally an Amazon Echo game, presented by company that have actually made several games for the platform. This is just one of them. Their other games are even more interesting. But this is the most fully featured RPG on the echo devices. To feature a sort of open world environment.

inventory

Are many people playing this yet? It struggles to understand me sometimes, so I use the buttons with voiceover. I am having trouble with inventory though. I think I have equipped my armor, but who knows, it doesn't really confirm that. What I am struggling most with in inventory is gold and potions, as in I don't seem to be able to interact with them. I am at a statue, and it is plainly clear I need to drop some gold into a bowl as an offering. I can't do it. Even though it says I have 5 gold, I can't find or select it in the inventory to use it with the bowl. Anyone done it?

What to do with the statue?

Down in the dungeons, my companions keep saying something about if you give something to the statue it could help you, but what do I give to it and how? I’ve tried everything I can think of, but nothings worked so far.
