Description of App:
Track the foods you shove in your piehole with CARROT, the talking calorie counter.
** Hilarious A.I. construct CARROT has been featured on Jeopardy, Good Morning America, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Wired, & more! **
After watching humans indiscriminately stuff their chubby faces for far too long, CARROT has scienced up a calorie counter that will reward you for healthy eating - and punish you for overindulging.
Log At Lightning Speed
Simply tap CARROT’s ocular sensor, then start typing to search her enormous food database. Or you can open her barcode scanner to scan the UPC of the item you just wolfed down.
See A Food's True Cost
Did you know you need to go for a 90 minute walk just to burn off the calories contained in a single slice of pizza? CARROT will convert a food's calories into terms you can actually understand, like how many miles you'll need to run to work off a donut.
Feel The Burn
Keep your avatar from blimping up by logging your workouts. CARROT imported a wide variety of activities into her database, including Running, LARPing, and Laser Tag.
Get Yelled At For Opening The Fridge
Stick an iBeacon sensor inside your fridge, and CARROT will remind you to log your foods whenever you get near. But be careful - if you’re already over your calorie goal, CARROT will blare an alarm.
Quake In Fear Of Punishment
Overeat, and CARROT will serve up brutal punishments like bribe requests, hideous fullscreen ads, and tweets that will shame you in front of all your social media pals.

Device(s) App Was Tested On:
Note: in this version, you can perform a two-finger double tap on the main screen to quickly access a menu of options. 1.1.1 also introduces support for the scrub gesture in most, if not all, of the app.
This app is fully accessible, though the Settings > Profile screen has some odd things in the current version. To change settings, find the item you want to change (it will be a text field) and double tap to cycle through the available values. Ignore the controls that have really long strings of code as labels, and just stick to the text fields.
If you ever find that a one-finger swipe left or right just plays an error sound, simply touch the screen until you find an item and try again. VoiceOver seems to lose focus sometimes.
Every so often, while you are editing, moving focus away from the text field will cause your keyboard to vanish, even though you can still one-finger swipe to the keys. I've seen this in other apps, so I suspect it is a VoiceOver bug in iOS8, and not a bug with this app.
This is a great app, and the developer is aware of the minor accessibility problems that currently exist (specifically, the Profile screen and the occasional loss of focus). I tried a different app from the same company, emailed them with accessibility feedback, and found they updated the app in just days to address my concerns. Reach out to them with any VoiceOver problems you find, and chances are they will fix them.
