Accessibility Comments

Several Buttons are unlabeled. When I was able to obtain search results, only one item was spoken, there were supposed to be over 200 results. Flicking up, down, left, or right did not help. Changing settings through the rotor did not help.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads a few page elements.

Button Labeling

Few buttons are clearly labeled.

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

Other Comments

Amazon Prime Now lost focus every time I typed in a search term and double-tapped "search."

This app not being accessible is another black mark against Amazon as they are well aware of VoiceOVer as they just fixed what they broke two updates ago to the Amazon app. Check to see if Amazon Fresh is available in your area as it is the same thing same day or next day delivery and surprisingly the Amazon Fresh app is completely accessible. Weird as Amazon Fresh is available in my area yet this new Amazon Prime is not yet I am paying $100 to be a Amazon Prime member which also gets me free deliveries to Amazon Fresh. I think it is official as Amazon is confusing the hell out of us with all these services and some being available in certain areas and others not. Lets just hope they fix the awful design to the latest app as quickly as they corrected the broken accessibility in the standard Amazon app.

I just placed my first order with Amazon Prime Now. the VoiceOver issues have been fixed for the most part. There are still some unlabeled buttons, but those can be worked around. This makes me quite happy!

I too am able to use the amazon prime now app. There are still some unlabeled buttons which doesn't affect the ability to use the app, I can search, add and checkout successfully and that's why I got the app anyways so those unlabeled areas must be for other things.

Just tried it out, and mine isn't accessible. Don't know if it's a recent update or what.

The buttons that still show up as nameless do matter to the app. They make it easier to pick categories and other individual sections of the app including picking other local stores for shopping. For example in Seattle I can pick four other stores that are available via PrimeNow. Search can help but this does make browsing more difficult.

These issues aside, it does now appear you can also use PrimeNow from the web directly at
