Description of App:

This app makes it quick and easy to add and manage items for your digital Grocery Shopping List. Once you add everything to your list at home, go to the store and check off items in the List View section of the app as you take things off the shelf. When everything on your list is checked off, you know you picked up everything you needed.

You can also save Shopping Lists and recall them later from a new Stored Lists tab! Store as many Shopping Lists as you want for different recipes or regular shopping sprees where you get the same stuff each time, like Sunday Brunch...Yum!

No U-Turning back to the store when you are half-way home because you forgot the Milk!

Accessibility Comments:

The interface of this app could be improved for VoiceOver users, but despite this it is still fully accessible.

When viewing your shopping list, VoiceOver recognizes three elements for each item on the list. First, VoiceOver announces the name of the item and the quantity. Your next two swipes to the right will take you to 2 buttons, the first unlabelled, the second labelled with a checked or unchecked status. Double-tapping on either of these buttons will toggle the checked status. Other than this minor niggle, browsing your shopping list is fairly straightforward, with items grouped in categories.

When you double-tap on the 'Add Item' button you are taken to a page titled 'Add to list'. The first item on this page is an 'Add' button, which you use to add items not to the shopping list itself, but to the app's database of selectable items. To add an item to your shopping list, you first enter the quantity in the provided text box. You then use the picker selector to find and select your desired item. You then double-tap on the 'Add to list' button. It appears that you can only add items to your shopping list that are already in the app's database. There does not appear to be any way of removing items from this database, which means it could quickly fill with items that you may only have bought once.

VoiceOver Performance:

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling:

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability:

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.
