#1 Hi, when you get called from

Hi, when you get called from someone you don’t know, go to Phone > Recents.
Place your finger on that number, then flick right to get to the More button, then double tap one finger to activate it.
In the options that show, tap on block caller, and double tap to confirm.
Also, use a specific ringtone for your default tone, even a blank one, and use another for your contacts.

#2 I know

I know it but I have a friend he uses Android phone, he can automaticly block random calls.. thank you :)

#3 I use ringtones

For family & friends I use Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills, for businesses I do business with I use Money by Pink Floyd, the default ringtone is Apple's default of Openning. So when someone calls me, if they are in my contacts list I'll get either Music Box Dancer or Money, if they aren't in my contact list, I'll get Openning, which I ignore, they can talk to voicemail if it's important.

#4 Do not disturb

Hello,

If you only want calls from your contacts to ring through and nothing else, use do not disturb.

Go to setting then do not disturb. Turn on do not disturb and under allow calls from, select all contacts.Turn off repeated calls so a persistant unknown caller will not get through.

HTH and good luck.

I have this feature on my land line and it's a savior. There is an equivalent app for the iPhone and I believe there is a subscription plan. I do not get unwanted calls on my iPhone and thus haven't felt the need for this app. HTH.

#6 App Suggestions

I use True caller and Hiya! Try them out to see if it meet your needs.

I do not answer unknown numbers and block them. I do not return calls when unknown numbers do not leave any messages.

#7 Hi,

Hi,
I use mr. Number. It works well with VO, because not only can you find out if it is a scam number, you can enter the unknown number that called you and get more info about that number. It's a great app to use.

#8 Thank you

Thank you so much!

#9 what about

What about Google Voice? I've heard you can import your number into it and it's free and will give you flexibility. A tech journalist uses it and he's got a voicemail for family/friends, busennesses etc. Haven't tried it, but I've heard Google is showing it some much needed love.

#10 Mr. number does not seem to work

Hi, I downloaded and installed mr. number. The app opened without a problem, but after I entered my phone number and hit the next button, the app crashed. According to the app, you would get a text message after you entered your number. I didn't get the text message. I tried two more times, both with the same result of the app crashing and no text message.

#11 Hmm, that's interesting. I

Hmm, that's interesting. I got it to work under iOS 10 very well. I'd either try closing all open apps and try again, or restart the device. Or still, find the developer's website/email/twitter/whatever and contact them and politely ask them if they can update the app for iOS 11 support. It's worth a shot.
