Hi,
I've sold my Apple Watch because I just couldn't be bothered to charge it each night and carry around a multitude of chargers when travelling. If they ever incorporate qi charging I may revisit but, for now, it was expensive overkill.
For that reason, I'm looking at Fitbits for my sleep and activity tracking as well as wrist notifications. I've managed to sign up in the app with the use of screen recognition, a life saver by apple there, but don't actually have a Fitbit to use.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience using the devices, what notifications can be read on the iPhone as, obviously the screen on the device is useless. Is it possible to wear something like the inspire II as a simple bracelet whilst all that delicious data is uploaded to our iPhones and into an accessible format?
I realise there was the Fitbit flex out a while back but can't seem to find it for sale any longer.
Thoughts and experiences would be gratefully received.
And before anyone asks, no I'm not going back to an Apple Watch. It's over kill for me, awkward to use and, for the most part, I have my iPhone in reach for anything that the Apple Watch does poorly, aside from its tracking which, of course, the iPhone can't do.
Thanks
O
