Hi,
Looking to buy an exercise bike to which I can connect my iPad or iPhone to get the data into the health app. I know there are a few compatible with apple fitness but they're well north of £1000 which is too much.
I also need something that has an accessible app.
Any suggestions?

user accessible exercise app

Thanks. this isn't quite…
Thanks.
this isn't quite what I'm looking for. I'd like something that interfaces with the machine to provide accurate data regarding distance, cadence, wattage etc.
Concept2 Bikeerg
The Concept2 rowers and bikes use the PM5 performance monitor which connects to the ErgData program on iOS.
The app provides updates at intervals on how you are doing.
I have a rower and recently got the bikeerg.
Both are great and really accessible.
Concept2 is working on a new version of the ErgData app which I think will make this even easier to use.
You currently have to memorize key sequences to start the workout on the machine itself, but realtime feedback on how you are doing is good.
I think the new version of the ErgData program will improve this.
Happy to provide more info on this if you need it, I have had the rower for 6 years now and the bike for about 3 months.
Here is a link for the bikeerg
