Thanks Ollie. After reading this I tested and can confirm that the web version is also now accessible if you want to play it in Safari, at least on the iPhone.
It works exactly as it did with the bookmarklet before, but you no longer need to run the bookmarklet.
So no heed to download the app if you don’t want to.

You're right! I wasn't as into wordle so I never got the extension now I went to NYTIMES and tried a word and it worked I could tell if it was correct, present or absent! I am hoping to have a lot of fun with it now that I can use it.
