anyone know how to filter file type in latest Amadeus Pro batch converter

Very interesting situation.
in past versions of Amadeus Pro you could filter file types in the batch converter so if you wanted to only convert flac files you could put .flac in the appropriate box after ticking.
In the latest version however, they have changed this, the box is still there but you can no longer filter by file type using this method.
The developer himself has stated, and extension is now considered part of the file name.
I asked him to clarify what he meant but never heard back.
I have tried quotations, capitalisations, you name it, I have tried it.
I hate not being able to filter certain file types for conversions.
i’m using Version 2.5.3 (2090).
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
