Hey,
So, at the ripe old age of 42, I'm headed back to university to do an MA In Creative Writing. I'm very excited... However, I will most likely be asked to use micro soft word for submissions, workshops and so on including the comment function and all the other useful, though baffling, aspects of the app.
I've spent a lot of time over in Ulysses, which is good, though not the industry standard and, to be honest, the proofing capabilities of word far outstrip most other word processors, and thats before chat GPT has been enabled.
I was hoping there might be a guide, podcast or otherwise, of how I, as a voiceover user, might use word to write short stories and novels. I'm particularly interested in shortcuts and means of making the writing process as frictionless as possible. As you might imagine, searching around for a means of adding certain formatting, a heading say, really pulls you out of the creative process...
'Creative process', I'm already sounding like a pretentious tool...
Suggestions appreciated.
