I’ve been a member of this forum for almost 8 years. Gaining and sharing knowledge. It’s important to have a community with a shared experience.
I’ve started looking elsewhere for answers and information. The negativity is taxing and draining on this site. Especially over the past couple of years.
We all have our accessibility issues, and unfortunately Apple fails on many fronts, but the constant bitching and negativity can only go so far. I include my own complaints.
I’d never silence someone’s experience, or complaints for that matter, but there are members who frankly don’t offer much to the experience. They offer no solutions, positivity, or a pleasant presence on this platform.
Might the site consider implementing an Ignore option. It would make this site a more pleasant experience, while respecting everyone’s experience and voice. Only silenced by the ones who just can’t deal with them.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Unlikely to be feasible
I have actually previously investigated the possibility of implementing something along these lines.
At that time it wasn't technically feasible (or at least not without a complete and bespoke re-rolling of the CMS used by the site and many of the add-on scripts, which is beyond our capabilities).
I will check to see if anything has changed since. But, knowing how the CMS has generally gone in that time, my expectation is that being able to implement this is actually less rather than more likely.
Heading Navigation
What I do in cases like this is just use my heading navigation to go to the next/previous comment. Don't even get me started on those who constantly make spelling mistakes. You know who you are. A sister of mine was saying to me how she doesn't like those spelling mistakes either, and I just told her about heading navigation. Speaking of spelling, we've been down that road before and I doubt anything can be done about it.
agree
I've been wanting a feature like this for a very long time. like to turn off certain comments from people so you could have a more pleasant experience on here.

Response to Ekaj
Hi Ekaj:
Like you, I too just skip to the next heading when a comment is too negative. I think the positive and willingness of all of us to help each other out weighs the negative.
