whilst browsing for shorts blocking addons for firefox I found one I like and thought, what if this is availible for mac users and I found this ap for mac on windowscalled eat the shorts, it's a way to hide shorts on the youtube website.
I can't test it for accessibility but I assume you just run it and that's it. You do have to pay for it, it's 99 sense in the US store, I don't like that and think it should be free like the firefox addon I use on windows but it is what it is.
