Unable to change my email address, is it a problem with the site?

Hi,

I wondered why I wasn't recieving email notifications for posts that I'd subscribed too, and when I checked my profile, for some reason my email address had been changed to Callum.Stoneman, which is my username and obviously not a valid email address.
I expect this happened somewhere during the upgrade of the site because that was when I stopped recieving notifications.
Now whenever I try to change it, I enter my password, then my actual email address and click save, and the status message reads "the changes have been saved", however it doesn't save it. My username still shows up in the field even after refreshing the page.
Can you help me with this?

Thanks.

Hello Callum,

I just checked your account, and your email address showed up in the proper field on my end. I sent you a test message...did the e-mail make it to you?

Hi,

I'm still not receiving email notifications for posts I've followed. Michael sent me a test email the other day when I gave him my email address, and it got to me fine. They're not in my junk folder either.

Callum,

Looking at your list of subscriptions, there are only 2 which would have generated alerts within the past 10 days. One is for Facebook and the other the accessible video topic from today. I’m assuming that you’ve not received alerts for these?

Yes

Yes that's right they're the ones I've not got alerts for. Its not a big deal because I can check for replies on twitter, I just find emails a bit more convenient.

Hi: I've read the previous e-mails, but my question/answer isn't there. I went to my account to change my e-mail address and I couldn't find it on the screen. I'm sure it there, but ... If you can answer this in the next couple of hours--great! Otherwise I mnay not answer until June. I'm assuming you can look up my address. Dustee

Dustee, are you going to the Edit tab on your account page? If not, that’s where you will find you email address and be able to change it. Just be sure to click the ‘Save’ button once you have entered your correct email address.
