Boba Sort Cafe

Description of App

Boba Sort takes a classic sorting puzzle and gives it a boba tea makeover: colorful tapioca pearls, layered tea flavors, and a world-travel twist. Sort boba tea to expand your own Boba Sort cafe to new cities as you play — each one unlocking new decor, flavors, and challenges.

The goal is simple: sort the colored tea into matching cups until every drink is perfect. Easy to start — but as you unlock more cup slots, power-ups, and tricky mechanics like frozen cups, every pour takes real strategy.

Accessibility Comments

Gameplay is perfectly accessible, with everything being communicated very well. I think there may be a way to do something with the unlocked locations that I don't understand, and there are some unlabeled buttons in there, but they may just be images? Regardless, gameplay is very smooth, as is the screen where you can take rewards for daily missions, though sometimes it says I have a reward in there when I can't seem to find one. over all though, this is very pleasant to use!

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

This is incredibly addictive and satisfying to sort out. Though purchases exist, they aren't needed to enjoy gameplay at all, only speeding along certain unlocks from what I can see. If you are at all a fan of boba or organization, I think you'll be well pleased with this one.

Wow! I'm already very addicted to this one, just hoping I can figure out how the locations work.

It took a bit of getting used to but as the level goes up it kind of gets a bit harder but i am understanding it. I don't understand how the other things that paige mentioned works either. Was trying to figure that out but will play a bit more later on.

I'm likewise not quite sure. I've written to the developers so hopefully I'll have more explanations soon! The controls in that screen mostly do seem to read, but I'm just not sure what the screen's purpose is.

Also, update on the challenges. There are things in the daily challenge screens that need claiming, but also in the locations screen. If this is true for you, I believe a claim button will appear right up at the top to unlock different toppings, bases and even music. Though I haven't seen any of the things I've unlocked thus far so maybe the slots have something to do with enabling them? Unclear! I'm just glad I got the message about having rewards to claim went away.

I don't know what the slots are about, but I figured out if you click on your location and go down to where it says drink menu, it has all the default drinks in a list, you can click on any of them and change the base, topping, and straw color to any of the ones you've unlocked instead of the default.
