Accessibility Comments

This app works a bit clunkily with voiceover, with the game being played mostly on a virtual console with buttons. You double tap the left and right buttons to cycle through the menu options and then press the enter button to select, but you can't really explore by touch to get to these buttons so it's a lot of swiping and double tapping which I bet works a lot more seamlessly for sighted users.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the app relies heavily on accessibility hints to tell you what you've selected and what your pet is doing, so if you turn those off you will not be able to play this game.
It is also impossible to customize the colors of your console and pet because none of them are labeled.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

The menus are a bit confusing to use because the main menu seems to have two different menus for the left and right buttons, when they function as arrow buttons the way you would expect anywhere else. This may be because that's the way the toys this app emulates are set up.
Also the main way to keep your pet happy is a rock paper scissors game which is up to chance, and you actually want to lose the game because the pet is only happy if it wins.

I think you can only play this for a couple days before you have to buy it to continue.

So far, I like this app very much. It reminds me of the keychain pets I had back in the fourth and fifth grade. Don't even get me started on the huge mess those pets caused in my school, leading to all of those keychain pets getting banned. I spent the three bucks to unlock other pets. Here's my only grip about this app. I thought you would have more pets than three or four to pick from after buying the premium version. Or do you unlock harder pets as you take care of the pets you have/ I remember that's how my keychain one work.ed. You started off with an easy pet, but got a harder one the next time around.
