Description of App
Cook fast, serve happy guests and run a cozy restaurant that sounds as good as it looks. Restaurant Rush is a time-management cooking game that is fully playable with VoiceOver, so blind and sighted players can share the same kitchen. New: Burger Career, a 50-day diner story with Maya and her cat Holosko.
Orders pile up, guests get impatient, and you keep the kitchen running one shift at a time.
NEW: BURGER CAREER
• Run Maya's diner through a 50-day story. Each day brings a story scene with choices, a shift in the kitchen and a report.
• A hands-on kitchen: cook on the grill and toaster, build each burger on a plate and send it out. Patties warn you before they burn, wrong plates come back, guests can change their order, and wasted food costs you money.
• Burger Endless: keep the diner open as long as you can, choosing a card every few days that adds recipes, upgrades, staff or risks.
• Pace: pick Standard, Relaxed, Very relaxed or Custom. Guests wait longer; orders, money and cooking stay the same.
• The characters speak with voices made with artificial intelligence. The voices of the first 10 days come with the game in English and Turkish. The voices of the rest of the story (days 11 to 50 and Burger Endless) are an optional download of about 40 MB per language, in all ten languages. The game asks before it downloads, and works with text if you skip it.
• Guests can say their orders aloud, in English and Turkish, with the free Order voices setting.
• The first 10 days are free. Days 11 to 50 and Burger Endless unlock once for 2,000 Coins, which you can earn by playing or get in the shop. There are no ads in Burger Career.
PLAY YOUR WAY
• Run 5 restaurants, each with its own menu and levels. Start at Sip Stop and work your way up.
• Story levels for steady progress, or Endless Shift, where you pick draft cards to shape every run.
• Unlock recipes and kitchen upgrades with Dollars, and hire a waiter for the busy rushes.
• Finish daily goals and climb the leaderboards.
• How to Play and Practice teach the modes, pace and combos, with a practice shift where nobody leaves.
MADE TO BE HEARD
• Fully playable with VoiceOver. Tables, the tray and the door queue are VoiceOver buttons, and the game announces new guests, orders and warnings.
• Choose how much the game says: Full, Balanced or Sounds first.
• Realistic kitchen and customer sounds: the door, footsteps, chairs, pouring and cooking.
• Accessible play with pace choices, so anyone can play at their own speed.
• Left-handed layout. No account is needed to play.
• Accessibility features are never behind a purchase.
MAKE IT YOURS
• Restaurant Studio: decorate with themes, wall decorations, counters and tables.
• Spend Coins on chef outfits, music, soundscapes and accessories for the cats.
• Two cats, Holosko and Sabri, live in your restaurant. Pet them to calm impatient guests.
GOOD TO KNOW
Restaurant Rush is free to download. In-app purchases are optional: Coin packs and a Starter Bundle that removes ads. Burger Career days 11 to 50 and Burger Endless need the one-time unlock with Coins. The main game shows occasional ads between shifts, never during one, plus optional rewarded ads; Burger Career shows none. Available in 10 languages.
Tie your apron and open the doors. Your first guests are already waiting.

Re: the other game
Of course! :) If you send me your email address, I can add you as a tester too. Thank you for your support! And yes, please let me know how Story Mode goes.

Re: confused on campaign
To play Story Mode, start from the main menu and swipe right past “Endless Shift” until you hear “Ice Burst, Play Story,” then double-tap. This will start your next available level, which is currently Sip Stop, Level 6.
Alternatively, from the Restaurants screen, swipe right past the Sip Stop details until you reach the “Levels” button. Double-tap it to view and select a level. The “Menu” button immediately after it is where you can spend Dollars to unlock new dishes.
You’re currently on Level 6 because Levels 1 through 5 have already been completed on this device, most likely by using “Play Story” or the next-level button after completing a level. Playing Endless Mode does not affect your Story Mode level.
Coffee maker isn't working
I have noticed that the coffee maker does not seem to be working or it takes an insane amount of time even when I bought the first level of faster brewing. Lotta times it just says whatever table wants coffee, not preparing, double tap to prepare again. When I do that, it doesn’t seem to do anything, and I have customers leaving upset because of it. This reminds me of a simplified version of that classic lemonade stand made by. tsatrio3. Anyhow, if we can pet the cat, how can we pet them in the middle of a shift to calm everyone in the restaurant so they’ll be a little bit more patient?
Re: Coffee maker isn't working
Thank you for reporting this, and I’m sorry it caused customers to leave upset.
I investigated the issue and found the cause. If a table leaves while waiting for an order, the coffee maker can incorrectly remain stuck in a “not preparing” state, and double-tapping it does not start brewing again. This is a bug and is not related to the Faster Brewing upgrade you purchased.
I’m working on the fix now and will include it in the next update. Thank you again for describing exactly what happened — it really helped me track the problem down.
Re: Coffee maker isn't working
Awesome. Could we maybe get bigger trays as well? for example if you have a restaurant with six tables, you need at least a tray with six or almost 8 items just to be able to serve them all.
Re: Coffee maker isn't working
Yes, the tray can actually hold up to 8 items as you progress. 😊 It starts with 2 slots, and each level of the “Extra Tray Slot” upgrade adds one more.
Tray upgrades are purchased separately for each restaurant, so when you unlock a new restaurant, its tray starts at 2 slots again and can be upgraded from there. In Endless Mode, the tray also starts with 2 slots at the beginning of each run, and additional slots can be gained through cards during that run.
So with the upgrades, you’ll be able to carry enough items for all 6 tables. 😊
Re: Unlocking New Restaurants in the New Update
That sounds perfect. Having the price and ability to unlock it all in one button minimizes the amount of swiping, which is great. I'm glad you've seen the problem yourself, and have an idea of how to fix it. Thanks for all your hard work!
Another bug I found possibly?
Just reporting another bug I found. When the waiter brings the food to the tables, VoiceOver will pronounce the wrong table that is being served. I don't know if anyone else has this issue but I figured I would report it. I think it's in the story mode, but I wanna make sure that I'm not the only one experiencing this
Re: Another bug I found possibly?
Thank you for reporting this! Version 2.2 is now available, and I believe I fixed this issue in that update. 😊
Could you please update the game and check it again when you have a chance? If VoiceOver still announces the wrong table, please let me know which restaurant and level it happens in, and I’ll investigate further.
Thanks again for helping me test!
Restaurant Rush 2.2 is out, and most of it came from this thread
Hi everyone,
Version 2.2 is on the App Store. I said I would write a proper post about what changed, so here it is. I'll go person by person, because almost every item below started with one of you telling me something. I'll also say plainly what is NOT in this update yet.
First, the coffee bug was mine, and I'm sorry it cost some of you a level. Thank you for describing it so clearly.
COFFEE (Kelvin Tan and Exodia)
Kelvin, you were right that this was a bug and not your mistake. The game was handing out coffee orders before the Coffee Bar existed in your kitchen. Now customers only order what your kitchen can actually make, and the Menu tells you what each coffee recipe needs, for example "Needs Coffee bar: Extra Station in Upgrades".
Exodia, I found three problems behind the "not preparing" message you heard, and I fixed all of them:
- If a guest left while their coffee was being made, the machine or a tray slot could stay stuck. It is released now.
- If the machine is busy, the chef now waits for it instead of dropping the order.
- If the tray is full, double-tapping now tells you that, instead of doing nothing. Tapping a table that is already cooking speaks too.
I also checked the Faster Brewer upgrade: it does shorten the brew at every level, so the long waits you felt were most likely the stuck machine. If coffee still feels slow after updating, please tell me exactly which table and I'll dig further.
Exodia, you also asked about calming guests with the cat during a shift. With 2.2 VoiceOver players can do that: while a cat is in the restaurant there is a "Pet" button on the board, right after the tray. Petting makes the seated guests a bit more patient. It has a cooldown and a limit per shift, and it tells you the result.
UNLOCKING RESTAURANTS (MelodicFate and little bunny)
Every locked restaurant is now one button, for example "Grill Garden, Unlock, 180 Dollars". A normal double-tap unlocks it. The old label that did nothing is gone. If you can't afford it yet, the button says so. Thank you, MelodicFate, for reporting it so precisely.
FOCUS JUMPING (dark, Lexi and Faerie)
The Daily Goals part was fixed in 2.1. The Daily Rewards screen was the part still bouncing, dark, and that is what 2.2 addresses. After you collect the daily reward, VoiceOver focus goes to Daily Goals and it says "Claimed: 50 Dollars". The same idea covers other places where focus used to jump to the top: after closing a dialog or pressing Back, focus returns to the button you came from. I have tested this in the simulator and with automated tests. Please tell me if it still jumps on your device.
Paige, I am not going to say your problem is solved. Focus staying in place after collecting, closing and going back is much better in 2.2, and touch exploration keeps working after petting a cat or collecting something. But the items you skip while swiping are still on my list and I don't have a specific fix yet. Please keep telling me.
dark, one more thing from you: I asked where Coins go and I listened. The shop now has a "What can I buy with Coins?" section with links to each place, every Coin purchase asks first, and claiming all your daily goals gives 15 Coins once a day.
FOOTSTEPS, CHAIRS AND WALKING OUT (little bunny, Lexi)
This started as your idea, little bunny, and it is in.
- Guests are heard walking in from a distance, and the last step lands as they sit.
- You hear the chair as they sit down and again as they stand up.
- Guests now visibly get up and walk to the door, and you hear their steps fade away.
- Guests also take a little longer to walk to the table.
- It is one free setting, "Customer footsteps and chairs": Off, Quiet or Normal. Quiet is the default. There are also optional step styles you can buy with Coins, and you can listen to each one before buying.
The honest part: in accessible play, which is what most VoiceOver players use, you currently hear only the arrival steps. The chairs and the steps back to the door are only in the regular mode for now, because I did not want a new sound to mask or delay VoiceOver speech before I have tested it with real players. I think the leaving sounds are exactly what many of you want, so I would like your opinion on how they should behave in accessible play. Also, the arrival steps only play in a quiet moment, so during a busy shift you may hardly hear them.
Lexi, you asked for customer sounds too. Customer reactions (happy, waiting, angry) came in 2.1. In 2.2 you get the footsteps and chairs above, plus a soundscape for the room, a grandfather clock, a fish tank and a jukebox in the Restaurant Studio, a short jingle when you win a shift, and a signature sound for each chef outfit you wear. I did not do plates and glasses being set down yet. That is still a good idea and it is on my list.
LEARNING THE GAME (Brian Giles, Lexi)
Brian, you asked for a way to learn combos, Story and the screen layout without the pressure of a real shift. There is now a How to Play section on the main menu. It explains how the screen is laid out, how Story and Endless differ, what the paces do, and how stars, combos and tips work. There is also a Practice mode with two lessons, "Your first order" and "Combos", and a free practice shift where nobody leaves and nothing is saved. Lexi, this is also the answer to your questions about combos and about what Relaxed and Very Relaxed do. More lessons will follow in 2.2.1. If something in these lessons is confusing, tell me and I'll rewrite it.
ENDLESS AND STORY (Sysskuu, Karok)
Sysskuu, the game now says it in plain words, in How to Play and on the Menu and Endless screens: an Endless run is one long run where you pick a card after every shift, new dishes come now and then from dish cards (they are named like "Unlock Fries"), and everything resets when the run ends. The recipes you buy with Dollars under Restaurants and Menu are for Story levels only.
Karok, the "Play Story" button is described in How to Play too, so you don't have to hunt for it.
DELIVERING TO AN EMPTY TABLE (Karok)
Karok, you reported that a prepared order could still be delivered to a table after its guest had left. One way this could happen is fixed: a hired waiter no longer carries a dish to a guest who has left or is leaving, or to a different guest who sat down at that table in the meantime. The dish stays on your tray and the waiter walks back. In accessible play a finished dish also stays with the table it was cooked for. If you did not have a waiter when it happened, tell me what you did and I'll look again.
ADS AND VOICEOVER
I want to be open about this one. Until now VoiceOver and accessible play players saw no ads at all. The game has to earn some money for me to keep making it, so from 2.2 an occasional full-screen ad can appear for you too, between shifts and never during one. I tried to make it as safe as I could: before an ad, the game says "Ad starting. Find its Close button to leave it." and waits for that line to finish. After it, you hear "Ad closed." and focus goes back to the button you came from. The next shift never starts behind an ad. You can remove ads for good in the Premium Shop. If an ad ever traps you or you cannot find its Close button, please tell me the same day. That is exactly what I worry about most, and I can switch this off from my side.
MUSIC (Nafisah)
New music, as I promised: a four-piece Scott Joplin ragtime album called Ragtime Cafe, and five room soundscapes (Quiet, Rainy Bistro, Seaside Terrace, Night Market and Mountain Lodge). You can listen to any of them before you buy. Please keep telling me what kind of music you would like to hear.
YOUR RESTAURANT (little bunny, Ornella)
The Restaurant Studio is now open to everyone and works with VoiceOver, with a spoken description of the room. There are new wall items (jukebox, fish tank, grandfather clock), counters, whole-look themes, and two new chef outfits, Pajama Chef and Cowboy Cook. Objects you can switch on and off, like a lamp, are not there yet.
Ornella, "Pouring" instead of "Cooking cola" and the cat's meow were already in 2.1, thank you again for both. In 2.2 the cat's spoken line now comes after the meow and the bell, and Cat Corner on the main menu has a collar, a scarf and a toy mouse for Holosko and Sabri (Coin items you can try first). A small correction, to Moopie Curran and Jonathan Candler too: I told you the cats were on the Profile screen. They are on the main menu, and now in Cat Corner.
WHAT IS NOT IN 2.2 YET
I would rather tell you than let you find out.
- Alternative cooking sounds and a favourite picker (Lexi, Ornella). Not started.
- Rising-pitch timers (dark). Not started.
- Separate leaderboards for every pace (dark). Today there are two tables, Standard and Relaxed, and Custom pace is not ranked.
- Custom orders like extra pickles (Moopie Curran), and names for hired waiters. Not started.
- Braille-friendly message speed (Paige). Not started.
- Plates and glasses being set down, interactive objects and hands-on food preparation. Ideas I like, no date.
- A real Story mode with an actual story (Lexi). Later, 2.3 at the earliest.
- Chair and leaving sounds in accessible play, as explained above.
Thank you all for the reports, the ideas and the patience. Please keep telling me when something feels wrong, even if you told me before.

impressed before playingRe: Another bug I found possibly?
I have been reading the comments and replies before trying the game, and want to thank you for your replies to issues. I've been waiting for bug extermination, but think I'm ready to try it after today's update.
Re: impressed before playing
Thank you, charles, that's very kind! 2.2 is out today and it fixes a lot of what was reported here. I hope it holds up for you. If anything feels wrong, please tell me.

I'm so excited
I’m so excited to try this new update out, I cannot wait to check it out, thank you for putting some of my suggestions in there, I appreciate it. I wanted to thank you for putting so much effort into making this accessible for us, I don’t think there are that many restaurant games that are accessible and are playable to the blind, so I think you’re doing a fantastic job, I am so happy that I get to test these updates out and tell you what needs fixing lol, I can't wait to see what comes next
Re: Another bug I found possibly?
Oh of course! You have been fantastic, and I'm now going to update the app and check
Re: I'm so excited
Thank you so much, Little Bunny! ❤️ This genuinely means a lot to me.
Many of the improvements in 2.2 came directly from the feedback and ideas you and the rest of the community shared. I’m really happy that Restaurant Rush is giving blind players the chance to enjoy this kind of restaurant game.
Please keep testing and telling me honestly about anything that feels confusing or doesn’t work properly. Your feedback is helping shape where the game goes next, and I’m very excited about its future too! 😊
wow, another packed update!
Thank you for this update! I really love all the customization options that are being added! And the guest book is a nice touch, not sure if it was there before but I just noticed it in this version. i am unfortunately still unable to swipe through all elements on the screen, I can swipe between some of them but tapping and/or scrolling is required to be able to get to all of the options. This is happening to me on all of the game's screens except the active shift gameplay screen.
Re: wow, another packed update!
Hi Paige,
Thank you so much! This is exactly the kind of feedback I need. The swipe navigation problem you described is definitely not intended. I’ll investigate the focus order and scrolling behavior across the game’s screens and try to include a fix in another update soon.
Please keep sending me anything you notice or would like to see—I genuinely want to hear it and work on it.
I’d also really appreciate your feedback about the ads. I recently enabled interstitial ads again because I’m trying to find a sustainable way to continue developing and supporting the game. However, I don’t want them to create an accessibility barrier. If any ad is difficult to understand, navigate, or close with VoiceOver—or if the frequency or placement feels disruptive—please tell me. I’m happy to investigate and make further adjustments there as well.
Thank you again for helping me improve the game!
ads
I haven't encountered too many ads yet but the few that I did, I was able to close with no issue. I'll definitely let you know if that changes.
Re: ads
That’s a relief to hear—thank you so much for checking! 😊 Please do let me know if you ever encounter an ad that is difficult to navigate or close with VoiceOver. I really appreciate your help!
Re: Another bug I found possibly?
posting it here because I checked yesterday and it is fixed. Thank you so much
Re: Restaurant Rush 2.2 is out
Talk about a jam-packed update! Wow!
Thanks so much for fixing the unlocking of restaurants. It's much easier now. Loving all the customizations to the way you can make things look, and the different music and themes are neat.
Thanks again for all of your hard work and all that you do.
Re: Another bug I found possibly?
I’m really glad to hear it’s fixed! Thank you for checking again and confirming it. Please keep sending anything else you notice—your reports genuinely help me improve the game. 😊
Re: Restaurant Rush 2.2 is out
Thank you so much! I’m especially happy that unlocking restaurants feels easier now and that you’re enjoying the customization, music, and themes. Feedback like this makes all the work worthwhile. More improvements are already on the way! 😊
the cats?
I'm loving this game so far. I'm a serious cat lover, so that's another aspect of the game I love. In a future update, would it be possible to needing to take care of our cats in addition to keeping customers happy?
Re: the cats?
I love this idea—and yes, I actually have plans for something like this in a future update! Taking care of the restaurant’s cats while keeping the customers happy could be a lot of fun. Although keeping Holosko and Sabri fed might become one of the game’s hardest challenges—especially Sabri, my black cat. He used to eat a lot. 😄🐈⬛
Re: the cats?
Love this idea too, that way it can be an element of taking care of the cats and also running your restaurant
Re: the cats?
Exactly! I’d love for the cats to become a small part of the restaurant management—feeding them and keeping them happy while still taking care of the customers. I think it could add a lot of personality and some fun little challenges to the game. 😊🐾
A tiny request
Can you add a cash sound for when we purchase or claim something? Thanks for the jam packed update. As much as I love cats as well maybe petting the cats should only be the thing we do else the game will be about cats and not a restaurant. I have been busy for the past week but haven't gotten to play much. If this isn't in the game already, how about cleaning and clearing tables? Example, when the first set of customers leave, you wipe down the tables and load the dish washer. Nothing to complex but after a time we should get something stating, out of dishes, run the dish washer now or how ever you want to word it. This is restaurant rush even if we play in relaxed mode so not to much detailed things like how much of ingredients for a recipe although I hope we get more cooking games to play. I have no trouble with the adds as long as you are getting the support, i don't mind watching them. Keep up the great work.
An idea
Hi,
I have an idea, and it's niche, so I really wouldn't blame you if it was low or non-existent on your priority list. But I think maybe with your coins, or dollars (in the app, not real money) you could unlock more customizable regulars that the player can name. Now, they wouldn't have their own sounds obviously, but the player could customize their name, gender, traits, etc. Just an idea, although niche, that I hope you'll at least consider, though, I'm sure you're getting a ton of ideas, lol.
Re: A tiny request
Thank you, Ornella! And no, you're absolutely not bothering me — this kind of feedback is genuinely useful. 😊
I've added these to my notes. The cash/register sound for purchases and rewards is a small detail, but I really like it.
I also understand what you mean about adding more restaurant-related interactions. Cleaning tables, dealing with dishes, and eventually using a dishwasher could add more of that feeling of actually running a busy restaurant without making the game unnecessarily complicated, especially in Relaxed mode.
I'm collecting all of these ideas and trying to figure out which ones fit together best for future updates. Thanks again for taking the time to share them — and for all the support! ❤️
Re: An idea
Thank you! I've added this one to my notes too. 😊
I actually like the idea of giving Coins and Dollars more uses beyond upgrades, and customizable regular customers could be a really fun way to do that. Being able to unlock them and then choose things like their name and other characteristics could make the restaurant feel much more personal over time.
I definitely have a growing list of ideas now 😄, so I can't promise which ones will make it in or when, but I'm reading all of them and keeping the ones I think could fit the game well.
Thanks for the suggestion — please keep them coming!
curiousRe: An idea
Are the cat noises in the game made by your Furfaces? I like hearing kitties and, the louder their little motors, and the more fur, the better.
Re: curiousRe: An idea
Haha, I'm glad you like the little motors! 😄
The cats in the game are actually based on my own cats, Holosko and Sabri, but the sounds in the game aren't recordings of them.
And noted: more kitty sounds, and especially more purring! 😂🐱 I actually have more plans for the cats in future updates too, so they'll be getting a little more attention.
Thanks for asking — and I'm very happy you're enjoying hearing them!
Coins
An idea that i have is while the customer is waiting or leaving we can have coin machines for different restaurants. We don't have to do anything to them but it can lower patience. So maybe a snack machine or bubble gum. you insert a coin and pay for a snack. Will think of more ideas regarding that. My cat is so loud, she wants the entire village to know that she is in town. Wish if i could record her for this game but the neighborhood can be so noisy at times that the sound might not be good for the recording.
Re: Coins
Thank you, Ornella! ❤️ I actually really like the vending machine idea.
I think something like that could work really well as one of the cards in Endless Mode. A snack machine, bubble gum machine, or even a few similar things could affect customer patience or give other small benefits during a run. It would fit nicely with the card system, so I'm definitely writing this one down. 😊
And a real cat recording would be amazing! 😂❤️ I love the idea of adding more real sounds to the game, and having an actual cat voice in there would make it even more fun and personal. Don't worry about the neighborhood noise though — if you ever manage to get a clean recording, I'd absolutely love to hear it, but no pressure at all.
Thank you again for continuing to send me ideas. Some of these little suggestions can turn into really fun additions to the game. ❤️
voice over hints
So now that I know how to play really good, is there a way to turn off the voice over hints? Was looking for it in settings and wasn't to sure what to turn on and off.
Re: ads
Specially those adds that are out of Youtube, the Close button, Voiceover doesn’t see it; it only sees the button )both on the Top right corner, according to Voiceover’s Screen DEscription feature) that says something to the effect of “you’ve got your rewards (remember I’m using mine in Spanish), thus Voiceover needs to be deactivated, before tappping in that screen area, for the add to close out and return to the game.
Explore by touch’s efficiency
Having been playing the game since last night, it’s awesome! I found that it’s very effective (once you know how the tables are laid out onscreen) using Explore by Touch; it allows you to very quickly go to the desired table and double-tap to either serve it, or to wait on it. Really enjoying this! I’m at level 14 of the 2nd Restaurant, the Burger, joint, as we seak. I decided to try Explore by Touch wen I just couldn’t get out of Level 6 or 7! The flicks seemed to make things sort of slow!, for moving between tables etc., thus I thought what about if I tried Explore by Touch?
Re: ads
I am having the same problem with the adds that come from youtube. I had to close the game to get out of it.
Starting a new endless run
Wow! So far I have recommended this app to everyone I know who enjoys playing games on their iPhone. I still cannot put this one down. Thank you again to the developer for all of your hard work, for considering our ideas, and for assisting us when we get stuck. I am a cat lover and have two tabby brothers. I also love the cats’ names you chose. Finally a question: I had previously come across the screen in endless mode, which offered me the options to start a new run or continue the current one. However, I have just completed level 40 in endless mode and I’m not seeing that screen again. Is there a way to start a new run so that I can dispense with the current cards in endless mode that I currently have such as sluggish kitchen and dull knives?
Re: voice over hints
Hi Ornella! Glad to hear you’re getting the hang of it. 😊
If you mean the game’s spoken messages during a shift, go to Settings → Accessible Play → Spoken Announcements and turn them off. This will also disable spoken warnings, so you’ll rely more on sounds and table navigation.
If you mean VoiceOver hints like “double tap to activate,” those are controlled by iOS under Settings → Accessibility → VoiceOver → Verbosity → Speak Hints.
I’m also working on more flexible speech options for future updates.
Re: ads
Thank you for explaining this so clearly, Gerardo. You’re right: some video ads don’t expose their Close button properly to VoiceOver.
I’m working on this for the next update. Screen reader users should receive simpler image/text ads instead of these video ads whenever possible, which should make closing them much more reliable.
For now, briefly turning VoiceOver off and tapping the top corner is the workaround. Thank you for helping me track this down.
Re: Explore by touch’s efficiency
That’s wonderful to hear! 😊 Going directly to a table and double-tapping is exactly how I hoped Explore by Touch could be used.
And level 14 already — nice! 😄 If you notice anything awkward while playing this way, please let me know. Feedback like this helps a lot.
Re: ads
I’m sorry you had to close the game, Ornella. That definitely shouldn’t happen.
It sounds like the same issue Gerardo described: some video ads don’t expose their Close button correctly to VoiceOver. I’m working on changing the ad experience for screen reader users in the next update so these ads are much easier to exit.
Thank you for confirming the issue.
Re: Starting a new endless run
Thank you so much, Nafisah — and the cats say thank you too! 😄❤️
You found a real gap. After an Endless shift, the game currently hides Start a Fresh Run while you’re choosing a card.
For now:
Pick a card and start the next shift.
Pause and choose Save and Exit to Main Menu.
Open Endless again. You should then see Continue and Start a Fresh Run.
Starting a fresh run will reset your cards, including Sluggish Kitchen and Dull Knives.
I’ll also add Start a Fresh Run directly to the card-selection screen in an upcoming update so this workaround won’t be necessary.
Re: Starting a new endless run
Thank you for walking me through that, it worked!
learn game sounds
Would it be possible to have a menu to learn the game sounds? I feel like I have figured some of them out, of course the cooking ones, the one for when someone arrives and for when an order is ready, but there are some that I hear and I'm still not sure what they're telling me.
Edit: I also have a small suggestion that might help with the fast pace of the game, when focusing on a table, could we have the option to read the status like waiting or preparing, before the food order?
Suggestion
I have a suggestion for a future update if its not in the game already. In endless mode, or any mode you wish for us to do this, when selecting a certain restaurant, I think there should be an option to choose to work the breakfast, lunch and dinner rush. Breakfast might just be sandwiches coffee and tea maybe other things to, but I think lunch and dinner require more items and can serve as a challenge even when playing in very relaxed mode. So if you are starting out in level 1, you have 2 slot trays, then you get an order for table 1, ordering a 4 course meal which takes very long because you need more than 1 slot trays so the other tables wait longer. Another idea is to add a buffet restaurant, in this one, you watch the crowd and just put the food on the serving sections and the customers serve them selves but this one pays out more. But we can customize it if we like, 2 or 3 hour buffet, in game time, but i won't mind playing in real time because i am so addicted to this game that I forgot it was lunch time and I had to put the phone down to go and eat. One final thing, is if you want more sounds for the game, freesounds.org I don't know if they have food sounds but I can check and get back to you on that.
Re: Starting a new endless run
Hi Nafisah,
You’re very welcome! I’m glad the steps worked and you were able to start a new Endless run. 😊
I’m currently working very intensely on version 2.3, and I thought it might be fun to reveal one small clue at a time as new comments arrive.
So you get the very first 2.3 clue: the first food you’ll be able to prepare yourself in the new mode will be burgers. 🍔
That’s all I’m revealing for now. I hope to see you in the 2.3 kitchen when it’s ready! 😂
