Other Comments

When the Icon Factory discontinued Twitterific due to changes in the platform, I went and explored the company's other apps. I've appreciated the level of accessibility they put into Twitterific and wanted to support their work in general.

The company bills Tot as a simple but powerful text editor. It is exactly that. You are given seven documents or Tots, as they are called in the app to store notes or whatever content you want. You can swipe between these or pick them from a list of tabs. Content syncs between the app running on multiple devices and Apple platforms.

Hi,
Is it possible to create new tots?
How does this app compare to say, Drafts?

Hi,

No, the seven items you get with this app for document creation are it. I think of this more as a scratchpad. Drafts is a much more powerful app. Part of why I bought this app was to support The Icon Factory after they had to discontinue Twitterific and I've come to appreciate the quick way I can store notes and other text in the app.

Hi,
I love Drafts, but it requires a subscription. Tot, on the other hand, does not. I was looking for something that's just as good as Drafts, but doesn't require a subscription, in an effort to save money.
Any suggestions
I've used Ulysses before, even though it too, requires a subscription. I may go back to that, if I don't find a viable replacement for Drafts soon. ?
