Discover OOrion Partner Venues! Using OOrion in a partner venue will enable you to find your way around easily, identify and locate specific objects, access practical information about the venue, easily call the reception and much more.

Activate geolocation and push notifications so that OOrion can adapt and let you know when you're at a partner venue.

Today we're celebrating the arrival on OOrion of our first partner: Carrefour! The group wanted to offer specific features for 11 stores in France. It's a first step towards more accessible stores, and we don't intend to stop there!

On Friday, was not there physically, but had Vista Center staff demoing and is an app that I found out about before and have been using for a bit already. It's an app that can let you know about available objects or text, scan for specific text or objects, and even add personal objects to locate. It provides great feedback of when it sees the text or object and gives you feedback of when you're getting closer and can reach the item.

I don’t understand. What is an OORION venue? What’s the difference between this And something like seeing ai or Be my eyes or other apps for the blind.

This seems more like that rather than BeMyEyes kind of thing.

This is different and unique, as Oorion will not only identify visible text and objects, it can search for specific objects and text, allowing one to hone in on the object. It's also possible to scan and find personal objects.
Give it a try and you may be delightfully surprised.

The description part of the app directory entry should have the "appstore" description and not your personal thoughts. There is another section for that. Please update this.

As I said and will continue saying, this is a normal occurrance. Not only in apps, but also in hardware. We have had occurrances like this for ages now. Perhaps one is better than the other, but it is still there for those who would prefer to use it instead. Just like opening a pantry, pick which one you want, and eat it. In this case, use it. Don't eat your apps. :P
