Yahoo Weather

This is certainly a very unique experience I've seen for a weather app. Some may like it and others may just hate it. The actual Weather page is something I have never seen before. It is almost like it is always in an Edit mode. What I mean is that each thing you see on this page is separated in to a module that you can reorganize if you want. So if the Wind and Pressure is your thing. You can drag this up higher on the page. The same goes for the Precipitation, Maps, Details, and the Sun and Moon. There are some unlabel buttons which turns out I believe are just pictures throughout on the Main page of the Weather app. At the top upper left hand corner is the Side Bar Icon. Obviously not label correctly but this brings up a page that looks like Options. It shows many of the Apps that Yahoo Provides. Along with gives you the ability to set up different locations. Lastly the Settings can be found further down the list. To get back to the Weather page you have to find the Current Location and double tap on this. It isn't a button or a link. So there is no indicator that would appear to be an actual link other that it just says Current Location as a text. Now back to the Main page. There is another quirk that I found. If you flick to the Forecast. Just stay on this for a second. You will will hear that it will announce the temp and the time. Shortly after this it goes in to a loop. It appears that every second that goes by in the Time it repeats itself. So it sounds like it is stuck in a loop. There is another item on the page that I'm unsure but it must be set of images or such? Because, it doesn't tell me of the actual temps and such. You can find this towards the top of the page. It is labeled as Current Temps, Current Conditions, Forecast High and Forecast Low. Lastly, it appears that it only shows you today's forecast. No other forecast is given to you. Overall, I am not a fan of this app at all. The Detail Forecast is quite nice. I like how it reads everything to you in one easy listen but is really bit awkward and there are just too many weird quirks that just turns me off on it. Remember it is a FREE app that you can download and give it a try for yourself. Would be curious in what other think of the Yahoo! Weather.
