Description of App

OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) for Mac is the easiest way to access your OneDrive from your Mac. When you install OneDrive, a OneDrive folder is created on your computer. Everything you put in this folder is automatically kept in sync between your computers (Mac or PC) and OneDrive.com, so you can get to your latest files from virtually anywhere. Whenever you add, change, or delete files in one location, all the other locations will be updated. Features: •Access your OneDrive right from the Finder - photos, documents, and all your other important files. •Quickly add new files to OneDrive by dragging them to the OneDrive folder. •Easily organize your files and folders in OneDrive, just like any other folder. •Choose the folders in your OneDrive that you want to sync on your Mac. If you have previously installed the SkyDrive App, please remove the app from your applications folder.

Accessibility Comments

I encountered no serious problems installing, configuring and using the App. During installation the User is prompted to login with his/her Microsoft ID (AKA Live ID, Passport ID, etc) and is given an option to select where the OneDrive folder will be placed on the local drive. A OneDrive icon is added to the menu extras section of the menu bar. It is properly labeled and all items in the menu are VO accessible. The preferences section is accessible and offers just a few options, one of which is to select specific folders to sync. I also had no problems upgrading from the previous version of this App, formerly known as SkyDrive for Mac. While the folks at Microsoft have done a decent job of making all important elements accessible, there are a few quirks to be aware of. 1. Some of the screens displayed during the installation process contain labeled extraneous elements. These can easily be identified and worked around with a bit of back and forth using standard VO navigation procedures. 2. Some screens are identified as System Dialogs and can only be reached using the Application Chooser, VO+F1,F1.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

1. Microsoft's system requirements state this will run on OS 10.7 or later. 2. I was not able to complete the upgrade from SkyDrive until I removed the SkyDrive.app file from my Applications folder as noted in the app description. 3. The IOS version of OneDrive is also accessible and is profiled on AppleVis here: http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/productivity/onedrive-formerly-skydrive
