AnonyMouse's App Pick of the Month: Ramblio

Welcome to the November 2025 installment of AnonyMouse's App Pick of the Month. This month, my pick is Ramblio, an exciting new social audio app that’s quickly gaining traction within the blind and low-vision community.

If you’ve been around long enough to remember how popular Vorail and Clubhouse once were, Ramblio will feel pleasantly familiar. It brings back that same spark of spontaneous conversation and community connection—while adding a fresh, modern twist.

With Ramblio, you can leave short ramblings to share what’s on your mind or join hangouts, where people gather to chat, meet new friends, or simply talk about life. It’s simple, accessible, low-pressure, and welcoming... exactly the kind of space many of us have been missing.

Read more about Ramblio here.

App Store Release Notes for November 2025 Updates
Version 5.2.0, (November 4, 2025)

The long awaited second goal of the Epilogue: A Fragile Unity, is now available! Plus, this update includes a ton of improvements to crafting and secondary attributes.

GEM CRAFTING CHANGES

  • Gem cutting now provides feedback to indicate if your cut was too fast or too slow to help you improve your craft.
  • The gem cutting cue has been switched from a system sound to a custom sound and haptic. This should decrease latency and also means it is available on Mac. The tone is also now available to all players, not just those using VoiceOver.
  • Gem reforging no longer requires the gems to be the same type.
  • Gem reforging now only allows consuming gems that are of equal or lower quality. This is also reflected explicitly in the UI for the ingredient required to reforge.
  • Fixed a bug where the arc in gem cutting would not always start at the correct default position.
  • Removed the warning alert before cutting a gem.
  • Gem cutting can now be canceled easily up until the first cut is made with no penalty or cost.
  • The prompt for ad retry has been simplified to only provide the option if it is available and no longer shows if the cut quality is 100%.

LORE CRAFTING CHANGES

  • Added ability to increase the quantity of lore items that you are researching to allow bulk crafting.
  • Reduced the number of base guesses by 1 for Casual, 2 for Balanced, and 2 for Challenging.
  • Doubled the base bonus of companions that affect lore researching guesses to make them feel more meaningful.
  • The prompt for ad retry has been simplified to only provide the option if it is available and the number of bonus guesses has been reduced to 2.

SECONDARY ATTRIBUTE CHANGES

  • Secondary Attributes are now broken out into different categories: Quest Effects, Exploration Perks, Crafting Bonuses, Wealth & Storage.
  • Each row can be expanded to show the exact breakdown of the value, including its base value where applicable.
  • Path Time Decrease has been reframed as Travel Speed so that it is more intuitive and doesn’t break pathfinding. It is now correctly applied to the entire route duration rather than per segment. As part of this the base travel time of all paths has been significantly reduced, but short distances may feel slightly longer.
  • Lore Item Drop Chance has been reframed as Fragments per Quest Hour so that it is more intuitive.

OTHER CHANGES

  • Popups, such as quest rewards and travel notifications, now only appear within the Map tab. This prevents them from interrupting other activities across the game. If there are pending popups this is indicated with a badge on the tab.
  • Removed Game Center indicator from Campfire messages.
  • Disabled iOS Game Mode since some players find the notification on launch annoying. We don’t believe it currently provides value to the game, but this could change in the future.
  • Music and sound now always mix with other sources such as music from another app or VoiceOver.
  • Updated accessibility hints to always use present tense verbs.
  • Added a message under Seasonal Leaderboards for players not signed into Game Center to let them know it is required to view and compete.
  • Improved the UI for seasonal leaderboards to make it clearer when they have finished.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed bug where the change legendary ingredients screen could not be dismissed.
  • Various fixes to the accuracy of the Vander’s Ledger seasonal leaderboard.
  • Fixed bug where the campfire tab is unavailable after a device is restored from a backup.
  • Fixed an issue with fonts occasionally not displaying correctly across the app.
  • Various fixes for reported spelling and grammar mistakes.
Version 5.2.1, (November 14, 2025)

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed issue where sometimes popups on the map screen would stop presenting until the app is restarted.
  • Fixed a bug where the warning alert for lore item upgrading referenced the incorrect lore item type.

iPhone Air Review: Is this the one Steve Jobs would have liked?

By Dave Nason | November 17, 2025

The iPhone Air launched in September 2025 alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. It may not turn out to be the biggest seller of the four, but it is the most talked about. Apple have kindly loaned me an iPhone Air to review, and I’ve been using it full time for the past three weeks.

Unsurprisingly, the first thing that jumps out at you when you unbox this phone is how thin and light it is. But how does it perform, and is it worth considering ahead of the other models?

How Apple Devices Can Work Better Together with Continuity Features

By Tyler | Updated November 2025

For iOS 26, macOS Tahoe

As is widely known, a major selling point of Apple devices is the interconnected ecosystem they collectively foster, allowing users to work seamlessly between iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other devices. Some of these features, like iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime, are facilitated by central servers, whereas others, like the Continuity features discussed in this guide, are largely facilitated by Apple’s proprietary peer-to-peer networking protocols that allow devices to directly communicate with each other.
