We are pleased to announce the results of the public vote for the 2015 inductees into the AppleVis iOS App Hall of Fame.
The AppleVis iOS App Hall of Fame is one of the ways in which the AppleVis community seeks to recognize the hard work that developers put into making great applications that are fully accessible to blind and low-vision users. These apps can be liberating; empowering; life-changing; provide access to information that sighted users take for granted; or, in some cases, they can just be good fun!

In January 2016, we transitioned the AppleVis Podcast to a team-supported model. The members of our Podcast Team have produced a number of high-quality; informative; and engaging podcasts for the AppleVis community, and we sincerely appreciate their time and dedication.
We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new community bug tracking initiative at AppleVis.
Since at least 2012, AppleVis has regularly published lists of new and fixed accessibility bugs in Apple software impacting blind, DeafBlind, and low vision users. As an independent editorial organization, we see the tracking and reporting of these bugs to be one of the more impactful ways in which we live out our mission to serve and empower our community.
