The June 2 WWDC keynoteā€”and presumably, the first public showcase and beta of iOS 8ā€”is fast approaching. Over the last couple weeks, Iā€™ve been seeing some iOS 8 ā€œfeature lists," for lack of a better term, circulating around the internet. Jonathan Mosen from Mosen Consulting even put together a "Top 10 Accessibility Wish List" for iOS 8, which is definitely worth a read if you have not done so already. (After this article was published, I became aware of a few more accessibility wish lists.

As we're approaching Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference which is to be held on June 10th, I thought I'd put together a list of the features I want to see included in iOS 7.

Apple has today invited the press to a special event on March 25 at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

Apple officially announced the event with the tagline ā€œItā€™s show timeā€, which would appear to confirm that the rumours are correct, and that the focus of the event will be on Apple's long-anticipated original content video service.

In it's round-up of what's already known about the video service, 9to5Mac offers some information on the content we should expect:

Apple may be preparing to announce a next-generation iPhone on September 10. Tech website AllThingsD is reporting that Appleā€™s next iPhone event is scheduled for September 10, 2013.

Apple has today sent out invitations to the press for an event to be held on 12 September at the Steve Jobs Theater on its new Apple Park Campus in Cupertino.

In addition to unveiling 3 new models of the iPhone, there are strong rumors that Apple will also be introducing the next generations of the Apple Watch and Apple TV.

Over the past few days, 9to5Mac and MacRumors have posted details of several iOS features that are reportedly in development at Apple.

Based upon findings in supposed unreleased iOS 14 code, one of these reports is of a new developer framework named VoiceProvider, which could let developers replace built-in speech voices on iOS with custom text-to-speech synthesizers.

Information on how this might be used is speculative, with MacRumors saying:

2016: Year of the Next Big and Small Things

Last year, I did a detailed round-up of Apple rumors for 2015. I had so much fun writing that post that I wanted to do it again this year, especially with all the exciting things (possibly) in the pipe. Here, then, is your 2016 Apple rumors round-up as of right nowā€¦ Warning: thereā€™s some really cool stuff in here that may cause you to drool uncontrollably. Got your napkins ready?

The introduction of multitouch gestures in the new iOS 4.3 will coincide with the removal of the only physical button present on the front of the iPad and the iPhone, sources close to the matter have told BGR.

The site adds that the iPad will be the first to lose the button and that the iPhone will be the next on the list; it is likely that the iPod Touch will follow suit.

Instead, multitouch gestures will be used to access the home screen and to launch the app switcher. It is likely that the multitouch gestures settings will be customisable as well.

Rumours about the impending launch of the iPad 2 and the release of iOS 4.3 appear to be converging.

There now appears to be a growing consensus that Apple will launch the iPad 2 on the 13th of February with iOS 4.3 coming one day later.

Macstories quotes a reliable source to support the above statement, adding that iOS 4.3 will be live by 1000 PST. iOS 4.3 will bring improved support for AirPlay, clean up the existing code and introduce iTunes app subscriptions that will support The Daily and other third party APIs.

ITProPortal is reporting that the iPhone 5 may be launched on Monday the 6th of June 2011.

As with every launch of a new or updated Apple product, there is much speculation about the possible features of the next iPhone. ITProPortal reckon the most likely are that it will come with slightly reworked antenna, a new Cortex A5 processor with a new PowerVR-based core, a buttonless design and CDMA/GSM compatibility, as well as a white model being available at launch.

A One-Port Mac?

Yes, the latest rumor to come out of the mill is that Apple is going to introduce a radically re-designed, one-port Macbook Air sometime this year. It will have a 12-inch screen, a keyboard, a trackpadā€¦ and a single USB C port, along with the usual 3.5mm headphone jack. That's just one lonely little port for power, printers, external drives or card readers, USB audio peripherals, connecting your iOS devices, and any other wired connections you might need to do. Crazy, right?

Hi all,

Welcome to my first blog entry.

I'm just writing this to warn you about uuntethered scammers.
Basicly, they wil ask for money, and provide you with an untethered jailbreak.
These are scams, as they'll either take your money and run off, or give you a virus, that could seriously harm your iOS device, and or PC.

There is no untethered JB for iOS 5, as of yet, but their is a tethered one.

Thanks for reading,

Kieran

Itā€™s nearly time for another Apple event, and this one will formally launch Appleā€™s entry into the wearable sector with the Apple Watch.

First revealed by Apple last September, weā€™re likely to get confirmation tomorrow that the Apple Watch will be available for purchase in April.

Post Date:

Barely a month after announcing new iPhones, Apple Pay and the Apple Watch, Apple CEO Tim Cook will be back on stage tomorrow to announce more new products … just in time to grab a share of your money this Holiday season.

However, unlike the September event, this will be much more low-key. To be staged on Apple’s Cupertino campus and with a much shorter invitation list, it seems extremely unlikely that any major surprises are in store.
