The spoken guidance and haptic feedback given to VoiceOver users when taking a photo is also present when viewing already taken photos within the Camera app

Severity
Minor

Description

  1. Ensure that VoiceOver is enabled.
  2. Open the Camera app.
  3. Double-tap with 1 finger on the Photo and Video viewer button (assuming that there are already photos on your camera roll, otherwise take a photo first.

One of your previously taken photos should now be displayed on screen.

  1. Tilt your iPhone so that it is no longer upright.

It may take a few seconds to kick in, but you should find that your iPhone will give you haptic feedback to indicate that the iPhone is no longer vertical, and there will typically also be spoken feedback from VoiceOver telling you how to adjust the iPhone to return it to vertical.

This feedback should not be present when viewing existing photos. It should only be present when taking a photo (when it is a great addition).

Note that this behaviour does not appear to be present when viewing photos in the Photos app.
