Description
On occasions, VoiceOver does not locate notifications that are visually available to find.
Typically, the 'Show notifications' button is present, but on these intermittent occasions, selecting it fails to reveal the notifications, and does nothing.
On some rare occasions, VoiceOver gives no indication at all of notifications being present, but there is a visual indicator.
Steps to reproduce
Enable VoiceOver.
Go to the Lock Screen or Notification Centre when there have been some notifications.
The issue is intermittent, but it appears that it may happen particularly with notifications that have been present for some time.
Workaround
When the "Show Notifications" button is present, but selecting it has no effect, double tap and hold on it, and swipe up.
This will reveal the notifications.

notification problem
The problem that I'm having with accessing notifications is within the notification center. I can see the notifications but double tapping them doesn't open them with any of my apps that have sent notifications. If I double tap and hold or tripple tap, I usually get the context menu for the app that sent the notification.
Using an IPhone 16 Pro with 27.2 RC 1.

Yeah this is a really bad one for me. I can't even open notifications from the GMail app to verify security alerts. I've thought of resetting all settings, but I bet the problem would still exist. I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the weekend completely going back to 27.0 through recovery and reinstalling everything from scratch. Since I'm in RC1 of 27.2, I'm not overly optimistic that the final release of 27.2 would fix this.

Mine seems to not be doing it right now, or I would test the workaround. Hope you find some way to get yours working. That sounds serious.

This happen in my 16 pro max with iOS 27.2 RC, I call it ghost. After clearing notification and slide righ VO report notification. It happen most time. I would say 60% of the times with me.
