After Voiceover has been speaking for a set amount of time, screensaver will activate, interrupting Voiceover speech.

Workaround
Change your screensaver time to a time longer than you would expect Voiceover to continuously speak. You can also periodically press a modifier key to trick the computer into thinking it is not idle.
