Is there anywhere we can get a hands on demonstration from a visually impaired user of a Mac in the London. Neither of us is highly technical so someone who can explain in simple english would be appreciated. many thanks in hope.

Visit a low vision centre

I think there are two options: 1. Visit a low vision centre. They will probably have classes to help you learn abou different tools and make sure you find the best option for you. I did a quick google search, and found some centres in London http://www.actionforblindpeople.org.uk/our-services/low-vision-centre-london/ 2. Visit an apple store. They are generally very helpful and should have some experience or training working with low vision customers. Hope that helps.
