image recognition

It happened to you too i think you got a tweet or a facebook status with the main part in photo or link to an image. Like that: "that is my mail for... http://twitpic.com/..." So my point is, is there any simple and quick solution to recognise text in these images? any app on appstore or any web service? Thanks, Pavel
