What does it offer that talkback doesn't?
It's an exciting time in the world of screen readers on Android. There are several in development, HearSee and Talk Forward. They are forks of Talkback, using that as a base, but doing some interesting things. Talk Forward specifically would be of interest to people on the Apple side that are interested in Android, as it does a pretty good job of replicating Voiceover's gestures. The big one is the rotor. But it lets you switch between the rotor, or the more traditional way Talkback handles scrolling. So very versatile, lots of stuff you can change to make it work exactly how you want. So, after having tested these forks of Talkback, I'm not opposed to trying new stuff, but didn't see anything in the description that was compelling enough to make me want to download it. What does it offer over regular talkback or these other forks?
... vs. Talkback
What features does this one have which not Talkback have? Eventually, what's the selling point of this one instead of Talkback?
From Blind Android Users
, here's an interview with the developer of Ferda from Episode 283 of said program:

SALIH KUNDUZ from Turkey translates thy interviewers Turkish to English, though said screen reader does have English translation built in.
As for what this screen reader adds to it, it does have the ability to change thy gestures from Talkback to VoiceOver ones at a single click under its settings. OCR functionality though (similar to Jieshuo) is via subscription.
PS. An earlier version of this post was targeting the wrong screen reader, thus why I am reposting this post from earlier.
