Any Good Games Based on Simon?

Club AppleVis Member
Hi, I used to have a handheld game called "Pocket Repeat", which was basically the same as Simon, where you are given a tone, and have to match it with one of four buttons. After the tone plays, another one gets added. Lately, I've been looking for games based on this toy for my iPod. I tried "i Say Tournament for Voiceover", but didn't care for the way the prompts were spoken, and Silent Spaces. Does anyone know of any other good games like this? Thanks. Yours Sincerely, Kelly Sapergia

The best one I have found is

The best one I have found is called glow - Simon says New Generation. I posted about it a few days ago. It's more challenging than the original Wimon because it has nine tones instead of three. It's completely voiceover accessible.l, But it might be one of the games as an Inaccessible tutorial. I can't remember. When you get the game, don't forget to put the hyphen between the words glow and

It is

I am not sure if you were asking me, but of course iSays hd is accesible. You will have to turn off voice over while playing, since you need to press the different colours, which you can distinguish because they use different tones.

Glow it's also accessible,

Glow it's also accessible, and you don't even need to turn voiceover off to push the buttons. It's faster if you turn off Leo, that is necessary.f

Simply, use voice over to

Simply, use voice over to locate the four colours, then tap them to hear which sound does each, and finally play without voice over. You can choose the sound you want to use, the default one is a piano, but i changed it.

Glow and iSay HD

Hi, Thanks for all the comments. I just purchased iSay HD, and have Glow as well. Both games are fine, but I wish they had a practice mode where you could press the buttons and figure out which note is which before playing. I found an iOS game called "Simon Says", but the current version is virtually unusable, as pressing anywhere on the screen results in you pressing a button for an ad. I sent an email to the developers letting them know about the problem, and they say they're going to work on improving Voiceover access for the next version.

iSays HD

Purchased, wasn't it free? Sorry, when I got it was.

As far as Glow goes, it's

As far as Glow goes, it's quite musical, a C major indominant seventh. It's played backwards though, so one if a very high G. 2 is the E just below that 3 is the c below, 4 is the B just below, and sometimes with my pitch problems those get mixed up in my ears, especially at the lower octave. 5 picks up on the next G, and so on. Once you know all that, you're good to go. I say all this because I know you're a musician.
