ChatGPT integration not present on iPhone 14 Pro... Am I missing something?

I just updated to iOS 18.2 beta 2 on my iPhone 14 Pro. On first booting into the system, I checked to see if the ChatGPT integration was coming to older devices since ChatGPT is an online service and doesn't run on-device like Apple Intelligence does. No luck. The mail app redesign is cool but mostly everything's the same. I'm still bored! Am I missing something?

I honestly don't think these AI features are going to be that interesting for when it comes to apple.

They seam to be really focused on writing,, i'm not interrested in that in the slightest.

I'll be checking out the siri stuff once I get an Iphone 16 but apart from that, nothing will change for me.

No, there will not be any Apple AI features on anything other than the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, and all the 16 series, and obviously anything after that, but, even if it runs online and not on device, they are not making the features available for older devices. I have the same opinion as Brad, you're really not missing much. I have the 16, and don't use any of it.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to say that Apple Intelligence features will not be available on iPhone 14 and previous models. Even installing a tool won't let you access these features. You need to have an iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max for ChatGPT intregration to work.
