Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms
Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.
If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

Why is Siri's initial sound control option part of the Voiceover
Hello team, I hope and wish you all well.
In iOS 26, there is an option in the VoiceOver audio settings that enables or disables the initial sound when interacting with Siri, a sound that has been absent since iOS 18, at least for those who were not using Apple intelligence.
What I would like to understand is what role VoiceOver plays in playing or inhibiting this sound, and what the screen reader has to do with this problem, especially since the sound was no longer playing, even if VoiceOver was disabled. In my opinion, this option should appear in the main Siri options and, in accessibility, in the Siri options for accessibility, and not in the VoiceOver settings, because the current behavior is not very intuitive and does not seem to make much sense.
If I am wrong, I would like to understand this issue better. I thank you again for your attention and for the essential work that you do day after day, positively impacting Apple's operating systems and our lives as well.
Kind regards,
Ricardo Brandão
Occasionally VoiceOver repeats the notifications content twice
Hello team, I hope you are all well. In iOS 26, some notifications have their content repeated by VoiceOver at least twice. There is no consistent way to reproduce this behavior, you just have to occasionally check the notifications and identify the problem. An example of what happens: a notification indicating severe weather conditions, in the current situation, could be said like this: weather, two minutes away, severe weather, severe weather. You can see that the last line of the notification was repeated more than once. I hope my explanations have clarified the issue, I am at your complete disposal, thank you for your attention. Best regards, Ricardo Brandão
notifications repeating
Hi Ricardo, first, if you haven't reported this, I encourage you to do so. I've noticed this and did report it I'm hoping it is fixed soon.
VoiceOver doesn't say the name of recent games
Hello team, I hope you are all well.
In the new Games app in iOS 26, the last games played are not read by VoiceOver.
Reproduce this behavior by simply opening the Games app, making sure you are on the Home tab, finding the option to continue playing and navigating to the next items, these will be read only as a button, but they are games that we have played previously.
I hope this will be fixed soon, I am at your disposal and I thank you for the great work.
Best regards,
Ricardo Brandão
File and folder names are not spoken in the files app
Hello team, I hope you are all well.
In the Files app, when we access the storage, whatever it may be, VoiceOver does not read the titles of the folders and files, even if we enter them.
To reproduce this problem, simply open the Files app, choose any storage, such as my iPhone or iCloud Drive for example, and try to navigate through the list of folders and files. You will be able to identify that we only hear the VoiceOver sounds when moving through the items, and that is if they are activated.
I hope this will be fixed soon, as this application is extremely necessary for managing files on the iPhone. I thank you in advance for your continued attention.
Best regards,
Ricardo Brandão
A note about the comments above
Friends, I would like to inform you that everything I posted above has already been reported to Apple's accessibility team. In addition, obviously, all these problems refer to the second beta of iOS 26.
