Hi.
Sorry, was busy for the last two months.
Two main changes noticed for me. We can now again change voices and read multilingual content, before it was always blocked on the primary voice the rotor wouldn't work. My feedback FB18861724 is now closed. It's still impossible for me to get Alison again for whatever reason, I've vaguely heard there is a workaround for this but didn't quite get it.
Otherwise, a very annoying bug, I am 99% sure now it's related to voiceover, in safari it's impossible to press down arrow in a form field and to get the autofill results with 1password, down arrow and tab or down arrow and some interaction tricks with VoiceOver. I have to open quick access and copy each item manually. Again, I could be totally wrong and it's might be a thing as simple as my extension disabled or never installed in the first place... If you encounter this please let me know so I know where to investigate.
Otherwise, pressing tab when opening safari still makes VO announcing nothing while the cursor does move to the next item, restarting VoiceOver works and after it always works until we completely close Safari and restart it. Maybe it's related to my specific 1password issue?
Haven't tested or noticed anything else yet.
Let me know your experience, we're close to the first stable release anyway so I hope those little major bugs are fixed or at least made known to as many people as possible before they have to discover themselve x or y part of their daily workflow has been broken.
Still, IMO as stable as Sequoia if not more, nothing like Ventura or Sonoma, so far.
Battery life seems a little bit better too, but still worst than Sequoia stable but this is totally expected as it's a beta at the end of the day.

was wondering about the quiet
so, since been a while since there was a post about the beta, anyone found any great fixes? I personally uninstalled the beta a while ago for storage space so I have no idea.
I'm still hoping the chat gpt bug is fixed, it's making using macos really annoying, yes, I use it frequently so it's disorienting when I can't even do that lol.
