Apple Beta Releases

One major change noticed so far, I know a lot of people like me will be happy about it.
It *seems*, I don't really want to be too excited or worst spread false information, that now when there are multiple elements in a html heading they are again read out loud one by one instead of things like, 2 items, heading level 3, and the user having to interact within to read the elements one by one and get out after.
This is the only thing I've tested and noticed so far, safari and 1password are the only apps opened after the update reboot 10 minutes ago.

Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis

If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.

If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.

In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

All reports shared with AppleVis must first be filed with Apple via Feedback Assistant. More information about the Community Bug Program is available here.

There are so many bugs I'd like to see fixed, I don't know where to begin asking about their status. When it's released, I'll just cross my fingers and upgrade.

Oh yes, that makes me happy to hear!

I'v become so cynical and pessimistic that I'm always taken aback when a bug actually gets fixed. This one has been annoying me every day since Sonoma.

I also should say how much I appreciate all your bug reports and updates on here. I think you are doing a great job of getting some of these issues on Apple's agenda.

I meant to say that in my last post.

Now that the public Mac OS 26 beta is out, we encourage you to share any bugs you find using our Community Bug Report Form. By reporting issues together, we can raise awareness with Apple more effectively and increase the chances of getting those bugs fixed.

Interestingly, some of the most vocal critics of Apple's handling of bugs—especially those highlighted in our past Apple Report Cards on AppleVis—haven't submitted any bug reports or shared them with the community. If you’ve encountered issues, this is your opportunity to speak up and make a difference.

Help us help the community by submitting your findings. The more reports we gather, the stronger our voice becomes.

Happy bug hunting!

From now on you can just click on the edit link next to the post to, well, edit that post :)
But thank you! Full credit to the applevis community thanks to whom I've grown up so much as an accessibility advocate... Back in 2023 I didn't know what world I'd entered, but looking back I'm happy to see that for my use case macos is better now accessibility wise than it was 2 years ago. But even beyond applevis, I should actually say that my unofficial unendorsed mentor who would probably both deny that and be like what the heck are you talking about bro? is really João Santos: it's because of him that I actually actively started, and keep, reporting bugs on the mac, because he understood my worst expressed when others didn't, etc, etc. :) And thanks to Apple as well, but for macos sequoia developer beta 1 I would've sold my mac already and nernever look back. Well, be very sad when looking back, rather. Anyways :)
