OneNote not working on my iPhone, but it works perfetly fine on my iPad?

Hello,
I'm encountering a very mysterious issue with OneNote.
I have an iPhone 13 pro max & an m1 iPad pro 11-inch.
On the iPad, OneNote works flawlessly.
However, the story is totally different on the phone.
If I try to open OneOnote on my phone, it starts toopen, but then just returns to the home screen, & keeps the app running in the app switcher.
So far, I've tried to uninstall & reinstall the app, to no avail.

Has anyone else seen this?
What could I do to fix it?
I'm an avid OneNote user, & would love to get this resolved once & for all!
