Apple Beta Releases

Hi everyone. The bug I'm telling you about I verified in the following phones: Iphone Se 2020, Iphone SE 2022, Iphone XR and Iphone 13 Mini. I expect it to be present in other Iphone models as well, which I don't currently have a chance to try. It appeared to me from IOS 16.6 and is present in IOS 17 beta, up to beta 7. I have personally tested this bug with both Italian and English languages, so I expect it to apply to all languages. I tried to report it but those of Apple do not seem to understand what I mean.
Apple's response, to my reports using the Feedback app, (FB12757210) was: Investigation complete. Unable to diagnose with current information.
Please check too, and report, as this way we have hope that it can be corrected.

Description of the bug
When you flick over long sentences, such as the headlines of Google news articles or Facebook posts, and flick without waiting for VoiceOver to finish reading the entire headline, the VO speaks a random vowel of the previous title. I therefore ask you to make several tests by flicking where there are long texts and verify the problem.
This bug is felt a lot with Eloquence, but not only. Even with other voices flicking, stuttering may be noticeable.
Thank you for your cooperation and reporting.
Cheers,
Ambro

Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis

If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.

If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.

In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

All reports shared with AppleVis must first be filed with Apple via Feedback Assistant. More information about the Community Bug Program is available here.

Hi
I reported this bug as well to Apple Accessibility a couple of months ago. They asked for logs from diagnostics and a screen recording which I sent. Hopefully if they get enough data from people, they'll be able to resolve it.

Great, glad someone else reported it. Let's hope they fix it.

FYI. They skipt B. RC may come out in 2 weeks or next week. Unless they keep the A for 2 weeks. Not enough time for fixing bugs. 9to5 reported iOS 17.1 is been tested by Apple.
