Apple Beta Releases

Hi Friends,

For those that are installing iOS 26 Developer Beta 1, or already have it installed, Braille Screen Input activation gestures no longer work. To fix it, find a text field, then double tap to edit, and try the activation gestures. Then it should work again.

I'm so sorry. I meant to select Apple Beta Releases but VoiceOver's focus jumped all the way to iOS and iPadOS. Sorry about that.

I have it set so Braille screen input automagically opens when I put focus in a text field, such as this one.
This works here on my iPhone 15 pro, but not my brand new m4 iPad Pro .
Both are running the first version 26 beta.

I think it might have to do with the Braille table you have selected. I think Liblouis is having issues globally, and it's possible the's why VoiceOver resets when the activation gestures occur.
