Weird notifications issue iOS 18.6

Hi Guys,

Don't recall this in 18.5 so I am guessing this is from 18.6. All notifications now repeat themselves. So, for example, if I get a weather update it will say the same update twice. Tried with several voices so not voice related. Anyone else seeing this? iOS18.6 iPhone 15 pro.

absolutely report it. I've noticed it. I hope it is fixed soon.

if we're talking about the same bug, where notifications get read out like the following:
messages, now, John Smith, how are you doing? How are you doing?
This bug is also in iOS 26 beta two. I wouldn't have expected this to happen in iOS 18.

Oh dear wonder if this is going to be one of those that goes on and on. Yep deffo not in 18.5 which is my work phone but 18.6 it is there.

If this is happening on the lock screen, maybe they are trying to fix the problem of the screen locking too quickly and cutting off Voiceover.

Happens anywhere you listen to notifications. Makes no difference if locked or in the notification center. Vo still cuts off on the locked screen so if that is the intent it is a failed attempt so far.
