This has been an issue for quite some time now. Every now and again I will notice in the status bar that my WiFi isn't listed and it'll say 5G ultra capacity. So I turn WiFi off and back on in the control center and everything is fine again. But I'm not sure why this keeps happening and it keeps disconnecting. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Connectivity assist
You may not be experiencing a bug. Make sure that under Wi-Fi settings that connectivity assist is turned off. It’s not enough to just turn it off under Wi-Fi settings. You also need to go in to the info section of any Wi-Fi network you connect to and make sure it’s turned off in there as well.
Earlier Betas
I haven't had this experience with the past few IOS 27 betas, but there were a couple earlier versions where I did have this similar problem on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. For about a week or so, it was actually pretty bad, and my Wi-Fi would cut out pretty often. At first I thought I had to reboot, but turning Wi-Fi off and on again also seemed to fix it. It's been fine though during the past couple of betas, and it's never happened on my iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Re: Connectivity assist
Thank you for this, forgot what it was called.
follow up
I tried this and it actually isn't working. Every device is fine, this is only happening with my phone. So it isn't our network.
Re: follow up
AAT&T? No issues with the RC iOS 27.2. 16 pro max.
What phone are you on?
What phone are you on? I’m just wondering if some weird device specific thing. I mean for the people that are experiencing this you know just wondering what devices you have because maybe there’s something with those specific devices. I mean, I know I’m not on the beta, but I just thought that maybe that might help you figure out what’s going on. I’m running 27.0.1 so yeah I know that people coming on here to tell you that they don’t have the issue isn’t very helpful so that’s why I figured out at least. Just see what devices you’re on.
my device
I'm using the iPhone 17. I selected forget this network and I reconnected, we'll see if that helps
Re: my device
After doing so, do a restart.
Ok. Maybe there’s something up with the iPhone 17 line? Well hop
Hi Alicia, maybe there’s something weird going on with the iPhone 17 line. Yeah I think maybe the disconnecting and reconnecting might help. Doing a restart does sometimes fix stuff like that too because it kind of clears out weird things with the settings and stuff. The only thing you may want to try doing if you haven’t is maybe just to like reset the network settings see if that fixes anything but it’s like probably the last thing I would try, but yeah, hopefully some of this helps you then you can let us know how it goes.
