AI camera tracking gimbles for video or photos

Hey folks, Has any one used an AI gimble to take video or photos with their phone?
I am considering the purchase of a gimble for my Iphone. I'm just learning that Hohem makes something called the ISteady gimble which can track a subject keeping it in focus. It does this, as I understand, either through a sensor on the device, or using a bt connection to the IPhone camera.

I'm not sure how accessible the app or setup is, but it seems like a really useful way to get set up to do videos without sight.

Has anyone tried one? What are your thoughts?

Please send me the link of this application, if possible

It’s not an app, it’s a device that comes with an app to set it up with your iPhone, I assume.

Just FYI, these can work for IPhone and other phones.
But, using the app is not strictly necessary. Some models like the Hohem ISteady v3 have an AI tracking sensor built in to the physical device so that you don'
t necessarily need to use the app.

I've heard of Insta360 offering both webcams and a phone mount with similar functions, with the ability to control them by hand gestures if you can get help figuring out what the gestures are. Options include full body, upper body only, and locking to a set of marker stickers you place on the corners of an object such as a white board. I haven't tried them but I'd be curious whether the phone mount could be used for a camera instead. I also can't comment on whether any support software is accessible or not but the gesture control may provide an alternative, especially for people looking to record or stream something like a presentation or lesson while standing and moving around somewhat.

Improved pointing instructions on where to point the phone when taking a photo? If I understand correctly? Is that so?

What are these devices for? It seems interesting for stabilizing video making or something, I might need that. I am fully blind. Sorry if the answer was already given but I didn't get it.

Hi @mantanini, and @TheBlindGuy07
these devices hold the phone and do two things. They keep the phone more steady if you are moving around taking video, but they can also move the phone to track a subject.

So, I plan to use it as follows.
I will place the gimble holding my phone on my desk, or mount it on a stand, and use it to record videos of myself. But, I will use the subject tracking features so that the gimble will guide and move the phone to keep me in the frame. Even if I place the stand a little crooked or if I'm not perfectly positioned, I expect that the gimble will correct these errors making the phone face me and make my videos look better.

Hi @patriciyaclark Which version of the Hohem ISteady are you using? Does it work with hand gestures?
I just got the ISteady v3 and one way to enable the tracking is with hand gestures but I haven't figured it out just yet.
