Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I need some help getting my Brailliant BI 40X to work with my Windows 11 laptop. Here’s what’s happening: I’ve just unboxed my HumanWare Brailliant BI 40X and paired it with my HP laptop over Bluetooth. When I power it on, the display announces “Charles – Connected,” and even shows my computer’s name, but it never actually displays any of the screen content. I’ve confirmed that Bluetooth is paired and the device shows up in Windows’ Bluetooth & devices settings, but nothing shows in Braille. My laptop specs (in case it helps pinpoint the issue): OS: Windows 11 Home, Build 26100 Model: HP OmniBook 5 Flip Laptop 14‑fp0xxx Processor: Intel Core 7 150U (10 cores, 12 threads) RAM: 16 GB BIOS Mode: UEFI with Secure Boot on Bluetooth: Paired and connected to “Brailliant BI 40X” I’ve tried rebooting both devices, un-pairing and re-pairing, and making sure my screen reader is set to use the Brailliant, but still no luck. Has anyone here managed to get the Brailliant BI 40X fully working over Bluetooth with Windows 11? Are there drivers or settings I’m missing, or a recommended workflow for pairing and enabling Braille output? Any tips, links to HumanWare drivers/software, or step‑by‑step guides would be hugely appreciated! Thank you in advance for your advice—I have a presentation tomorrow, so I’m really hoping to sort this out ASAP.
