Braille display cursor jumping around

Has anyone else had this issue with using their braille display on iOS? I thought it was just a bug with Ulysses but I’ve also experienced it in ghostWriter too. And once or twice while writing this, though it seems to act up more in those two apps. It could be a coincidence, though.
Sometimes [not every time, but it always seems to happen when I least expect it], when using the cursor as buttons above the cells, instead of moving where I want it to go, my cursor will instead jump to a spot in the text that is very far away from where I needed it to be. While I can still use the rotor to get the cursor where I need it, ist’s a highly frustrating and inconvenient thing to deal with.
I am using a Mantis Q40 display with an iPhone 16e running iOS version 26.4.2.
