focus 40 won't stay connected

Hi all, Using the Applevis channel on Zello, I was able to get some much appreciated help with connecting my focus 40 to my iPhone. I now have it connected and am trying to learn the commands. It stays connected as long as the focus is turned on. When I turn it off after I'm done using it and then turn it on again the next time it is no longer connected. Each time this happens I have to go back into my phone and click on the braille display. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it? Thanks, Holly

After turn the Braille by play on, if you lock your phone momentarily, and then unlock it, the disslay should reccnect autoatically after a few seconds without you having to go into settings. If that doesn't "work, hopefully someone else will be able to help.

Hi Holly. You might want to see if the Focus needs its firmware updated. If it does, contact me off of here, and I'd be glad to help you with it. I'm pretty sure you might not be running the latest one so let me know if i can help you.
