Problem with pairing a Focus 40 Braille display with an iPhone

I have been trying to pair a braille display to my iphone. I have done it before, and that is not the problem. I am using a focus 40 Braille display. It was working before, but now it is not. It connects just fine, and I can see what is on the screen with the display, but I cannot control it using the keys, nor can I type. I am told to access the built in settings on the display, but I do not know how. Is there anyone who could help me? It works just fine with a braille note as a display. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I found the following in the manual

To unlock the keyboard so you can once again enter text or perform commands from the Focus Blue, press the Power button to display the status information and then simultaneously press a Cursor Router and the right Mode button. Press any other control to return to normal operation

The button that you mentioned. Which is it? I am used to a braille note, not the focus. Thank you. So from my understanding, after I switch on the device, press a cursor button? Followed by the button you have mentioned?

no, press the cursor button and the right mode button (which I think is the round button at the top of the display) at the same time.

Move your hand to the right end of the braille dots. You will find a button with a rocker switch under it. The button is the mode button. That is the best way I can exqlain it. You might want to google Focus 40 Blue Manual. It has a list of buttons. I hope this helps.
