Hello,
Now I'm learning Unified English Braille (I haven't used any other English grade 2 tables before) and I noticed that there are symbols for text styles like bold, italic and underline. I wanted to see if these work on Mac, but unfortunately neither the System nor the Liblouis translations of Unified English Braille represent these styles. I know that status cells show the style for the current character under the Braille cursor, but I'd be interested in seeing where the styles change, so the implementation of these symbols in every Braille translation would be great.
So, again, my question is: could these symbols be implemented or is there any other alternative except usingspeech to identify where text styles change?
Thank you.
Greetings,
Alexandra
