Questions about Braille Display commands

Hi, I usis Braille Display and I have several questions:
When I write someting Do I need to turn off quick nav and quick nav by single letter?
What's the Differences between them?
There are some cases that I need to explorer item on the screen.
There are command to do it on a Braille Display?
