Braille on Apple Products

Is it possible to use a braille display over USB on IOS or iPad-OS by connecting it with a lightning to USB adapter that can be found on amazon? This may provide a more stable connection. Does voiceover support braille displays over USB?

The Brailliant BI20 X, BI40 X, Mantis Q40 and the Chameleon are the only ones that support the new HID standard required to support USB connectivity, and there are some challenges with it. If you wish for Orbit Research to support it, I encourage you to contact them. I mention them specifically since you mentioned Orbit products in another thread, and so I'm guessing that is what you are asking about. I hope this helps.
