Hi, a few questions about the homepod minni. Does the homepod have any physical buttons like for volume control?

No, it's just like a HomePod with a touch surface at the top, but there's really just the Play/Pause, Increase and Decrease Volume buttons.

If you have voiceOver enabled on your iPhone when setting up the HomePod Mini, VoiceOver will be turned on on the Mini, so even if you press the buttons on the touch screen, VoiceOver will read them out to you.
