iPad case questions

Hardware and Accessories

Hi. I do not own an iPad, but I have had the chance to play with other people's iPads. Some of them have cases with lids and when you open the lids, the screen unlocks and when you close the lids, the screen locks. No need to press the lock button. How does this work and is there any cases like this for the iPhone and iPod? Thank you.

Magnets

Hi,
There are magnets attached to the iPad to and up. So it closes and opens when the magnets in the case contact the magnets and device. The iPhone iPod does not have this feature.
